Public Safety Liaison Specialist

About the role

The Public Safety Liaison Specialist supports the Head of Public Safety Liaison MENA, acting as a bridge between the platform and law‑enforcement agencies across the region. The role ensures platform safety, manages critical incidents and guides authorities through lawful investigations while protecting user privacy.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with law‑enforcement and public‑safety leaders to foster collaborative relationships.
• Respond to platform incidents, providing direct support for complex or critical situations.
• Advise authorities on conducting investigations in a legal and ethical manner.
• Work cross‑functionally to identify actions that reduce risks to people, locations and communities.
• Detect, escalate and manage emergencies affecting the platform and its users.
• Produce accurate incident updates, post‑incident reports and briefing notes.
• Champion the protection and privacy of user and third‑party data at all times.
• Remain flexible to work weekends and public holidays during emergencies and travel nationwide for face‑to‑face engagements, meetings and training.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in a law‑enforcement agency, with mandatory Gendarmerie background.
• Proven experience working with law‑enforcement, public‑safety or government authorities.
• Native‑level Arabic and professional fluency in English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work non‑traditional hours when required.
