About the role

This position is responsible for the day‑to‑day publishing, optimisation and performance monitoring of Sky News Arabia’s social media content, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of breaking news, live coverage and multimedia assets.

Key responsibilities

• Publish approved news stories, videos, graphics, live streams and promotional content across Sky News Arabia’s social media platforms.
• Prepare and adapt accurate, clear and engaging captions, headlines, descriptions and hashtags for each platform.
• Schedule posts, redistribute or repurpose content according to performance and audience demand.
• Verify captions, links, tags, thumbnails, subtitles and visual assets before publication to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor real‑time performance, audience behaviour and platform trends, producing daily and weekly performance reports.

Required profile

• Highly organized and digitally savvy professional able to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong coordination with editorial, newsroom, video, design and social media teams.
• Focus on accuracy, speed, platform trends and analytics while adhering to editorial and brand standards.
