QA Analyst

About the role

As a QA Analyst at Cafeyn, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our digital reading platform before it reaches users. You will design and execute testing strategies, identify defects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test reports aligned with software requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web, iOS, Android, and API layers.
• Identify, analyze, and document software defects clearly.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and scheduling activities.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and the customer care team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and resolve user‑reported issues.
• Mentor junior QA members and stay updated on testing trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience as a manual QA tester.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Web testing
• Mobile testing on iOS and Android (real devices and emulators)
• API testing
• Writing clear, structured test cases and test plans
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
