QA Engineer

About the role

As a QA Engineer at IDEMIA, you will join an agile team of testers, a Product Owner, a Scrum Master, and a QA Lead to ensure high‑quality delivery of identity technology solutions, including strategic projects like the MBIS application.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to guarantee functional coverage.
• Write BDD test scenarios using Gherkin and define the test automation strategy.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests with Cucumber, Selenium or Playwright.
• Implement step definitions, perform API testing with Postman, and run regression test campaigns.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing.
• Fluent French and working proficiency in English.
• Strong team spirit, communication, adaptability, analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Jira, Xray, Confluence.
• BDD with Gherkin scenario writing.
• Cucumber, Selenium or Playwright for web test automation.
• Programming in Java or JavaScript.
• Git version control.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
