Quality Controller – Manufacturing

About the role

JTI is launching a new factory in Tetouan and seeks a Quality Controller to ensure that production processes and final products meet the company’s high standards and safety protocols. You will work on‑site, performing inspections, recording results, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections according to the Quality Inspection Plan and verify compliance with product specifications.
• Record daily test results in the quality database or hard‑copy logs and calculate periodic averages for reporting.
• Monitor material handling, process flows, and brand changeover procedures, ensuring adherence to established SOPs.
• Manage QUIP (Quality Unsure Inspected Products) by holding, labeling, and inspecting non‑conforming items and supporting root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate quality measuring instruments, keep work areas clean, and participate in system upgrades and 5S/3R initiatives.
• Assist with pest‑control activities related to tobacco beetle and contribute to health‑and‑safety compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in quality control.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret statistical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, French, and Arabic.
