Quality Coordinator – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Coordinator will lead quality activities at Lear’s Tangier TFZ plant, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence across manufacturing and customer interfaces. Reporting to the Senior Quality Coordinator, you will drive continuous improvement, manage a team of quality engineers and uphold automotive quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop quality engineers, coordinating daily activities.
• Act as primary contact with customer quality representatives to resolve reported issues.
• Monitor internal and external quality issues, lead 8D investigations and track action plan effectiveness.
• Maintain and improve customer scorecards and quality indicators such as WCs, RPPM, DPPM and LMQM.
• Reduce non‑quality costs through containment and corrective actions.
• Oversee process and product audits, equipment validation, operator qualification and engineering change implementation.
• Support preparation of PPAP packages for new product introductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 quality management system.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and meet delivery deadlines.
