Quality Engineer

About the role

The Quality Engineer will coordinate quality planning, develop and implement quality control procedures, and ensure that products meet established standards. This position supports customer satisfaction and maintains Magna's reputation for high‑quality seating systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate quality planning including control plans, FMEA, audit/inspection details, sample submissions and training.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards in compliance with regulations.
• Supervise product inspection and testing activities, ensuring consistent control processes.
• Analyze quality results, identify non‑conformities and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage customer complaints, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits and follow up on recommendations.
• Participate in the development and updating of quality documentation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent (industrial engineering, quality, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Excellent knowledge of quality standards and applicable regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with ability to handle emergency situations.

Required skills

• IATF Core Tools and IATF standard knowledge.
• Proficiency with quality management software.
• Fluency in French and English.
