Quality Production Engineer

About the role

The Quality Production Engineer will lead the quality inspection team for the designated segment, ensuring that customer specifications are consistently met throughout production. This position supports continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates closely with the manufacturing plant to enhance product and process quality.

Key responsibilities

• Train and inform the quality inspector team on customer specifications and quality standards.
• Manage non‑conformities identified during customer audits, communicating action plans and findings promptly.
• Apply HOS (Hirschmann Operational System) and CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) tools such as 5S, Kanban, Zero‑Defect strategy, and 8D.
• Participate actively in new project development and serial transfer activities.
• Support the production plant with quality improvements through process audits and other initiatives.
• Utilize SAP and customer portals for data management and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum BAC +5 in Industrial, Mechanical, or Technical Engineering.
• At least 6 months of experience as a quality engineer in an industrial setting.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, ability to prioritize tasks, and resilience under pressure.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Effective team management and conflict‑resolution skills.
