Quality Production Engineer

About the role

The Quality Production Engineer will support KOSTAL's automotive manufacturing site in Tangier by driving continuous improvement and ensuring product quality. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and embed a strong quality culture on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support structured problem‑solving methods (8D, QRQC, Ishikawa, 5 Whys) for internal and external quality issues.
• Facilitate cross‑functional workshops to reduce defect recurrence and implement corrective actions.
• Apply quality tools such as Reverse FMEA, SPC, MSA and Control Plans in production areas.
• Monitor and improve key quality KPIs (FTT, PPM, scrap rate) and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001.
• Train operators, technicians and support functions on quality standards and problem‑solving techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in quality or production engineering, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Quality tools: Reverse FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan.
• Problem‑solving methods: 8D, QRQC, Ishikawa, 5 Whys.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
