Quantitative Analyst Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst Manager to lead the quantitative activity for a major banking client in Morocco. The role involves overseeing model development, valuation, pricing, hedging and market risk measurement, as well as driving the industrialisation of quantitative tools used by market teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy the quantitative activity strategy.
• Analyse, model, develop and evolve quantitative models for rates, FX, derivatives and structured products.
• Design and improve calculation libraries and tools.
• Monitor methodological, regulatory and technological developments.
• Lead quantitative projects and coordinate with business teams.
• Manage and develop a team of specialised professionals.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or graduate from a Moroccan or foreign Grande École, preferably with a focus on financial mathematics, quantitative finance, statistics, applied mathematics or financial engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in quantitative analysis and modeling in market finance or a trading floor.
• Strong knowledge of financial market products and activities.
• Excellent analytical mindset and communication skills in French; English is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead projects and supervise a team.
