Refrigeration Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Refrigeration Technician provides on‑site maintenance and repair services for the Rabat Marriott Hotel, ensuring guest comfort and compliance with safety standards. The role involves responding to guest requests, performing preventive maintenance, and handling complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and perform maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, and lubrication of tools and HVAC equipment.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves, manage inventory and requisition parts.
• Perform complex repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and pool heating systems, following lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document daily activities, communicate shift handovers and use engineering software for preventive maintenance and energy management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. with vocational/technical training.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Universal CFC certification.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and follow safety policies.
