Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst – Casablanca

About the role

We are seeking a Casablanca‑based Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst to join our Regulatory Technology and Control group. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely, and complete regulatory reporting and trade record‑keeping for Bernstein’s equity broker‑dealer business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement controls and reconciliations for MiFID II Transaction Reporting, OTC Post‑Trade Transparency and Trade Surveillance.
• Collaborate with Equity trading and trade support to validate data models and resolve data quality issues.
• Analyse and document data flows from front‑office systems to regulators, using Python or PowerBI for innovative analysis.
• Maintain a backlog of regulatory reporting tasks and present status, risks and issues to the Data Governance Committee.
• Work with regulatory technology teams to clarify requirements and review software increments.

Required profile

• Strong motivation to learn equity trading, regulatory reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex issues to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across Trading, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal teams.

Required skills

• Experience writing SQL queries or using Python for data analytics (2+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of cash equity trading scenarios and trade‑transaction reporting.
• Familiarity with PySpark, Azure Synapse, Spark, Delta Lake and PowerBI is a plus.
