Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Casablanca‑based Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst to join the Regulatory Technology and Control group supporting Bernstein’s equity broker‑dealer business. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of high‑volume trading data used for MiFID II transaction reporting, post‑trade transparency and trade surveillance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate controls and reconciliations for regulatory reporting and trade surveillance.
• Collaborate with Equity trading and trade support teams to understand trading scenarios and validate data models.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues in regulatory reporting pipelines.
• Analyse data flows from front‑office systems to regulators and document them.
• Develop innovative analytics using Python, PySpark and PowerBI to proactively identify reporting gaps.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog and present status, risks and issues to the Data Governance Committee.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries or using Python for data analytics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex issues to senior stakeholders.
• Motivation to learn equity trading, MiFID II requirements and regulatory technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Trading, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal teams.
