Remote Legal Assistant – US/UK Law

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Remote Legal Assistant to support our legal team across US and UK jurisdictions. The role involves drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, format, and proofread motions, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER.
• Act as liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage legal calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings.
• File documents with courts and government agencies in compliance with standards.
• Handle telephone calls, email correspondence, and billing tasks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal secretary in US or UK law.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a Paralegal Certification.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Legal management software.
• LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER for legal research.
• High‑speed, stable internet connection and reliable power backup.
