Robotics Data Collector – Hands‑on AI Data Collection

About the role

CNTXT AI is seeking a Robotics Data Collector to capture high‑quality multimodal datasets for training next‑generation AI models. You will work hands‑on with robotic platforms, cameras and sensors in lab and controlled real‑world environments, ensuring the data collected is accurate and usable.

Key responsibilities

• Collect robotics and egocentric (first‑person) data using handheld, head‑mounted or robot‑mounted cameras and various sensors (IMU, depth cameras).
• Execute data‑collection tasks following predefined scenarios and protocols, maintaining consistent recording of actions, interactions and environments.
• Assist in operating humanoid or mobile robots, supporting setup and calibration of cameras, sensors and recording systems.
• Review collected data for completeness, clarity and accuracy, flagging missing data, recording errors or sensor misalignments.
• Prepare and configure experimental environments for object manipulation, navigation and human‑robot interaction recordings.
• Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, equipment usage and any issues encountered, providing feedback to improve processes.
• Follow lab safety, data privacy and security guidelines at all times.

Required profile

• 0–3+ years of experience in data collection, field operations or laboratory environments.
• Comfortable working with cameras, sensors and basic computer tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
