Rooms Operations Manager II

About the role

The Rooms Operations Manager II supports the execution of all rooms‑area departments, including Front Office, Engineering, and Housekeeping, at a Marriott property in Rabat. The role focuses on enhancing guest and employee satisfaction while driving financial performance and compliance with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rooms operations team, translating goals into daily productivity and guest‑tracking metrics.
• Oversee Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping functions, ensuring adherence to SOPs and recovery plans.
• Publish and act on guest satisfaction data, addressing concerns promptly.
• Assist in financial analysis, audit activities, and cost‑reduction initiatives to maximize departmental profitability.
• Conduct HR activities such as interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance coaching, fostering a motivated work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related area; OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or similar with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve service quality, and manage operational budgets.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
