Safety Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Safety Engineer to join our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Department. The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting people, assets, and the environment across our industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and identify workplace hazards across operational areas.
• Participate in risk assessments, process safety reviews, and implement preventive measures.
• Organize safety training sessions and emergency response drills.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous chemical management requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of EHS management systems and safety procedures.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
• Open to junior and experienced candidates; internship or professional experience in EHS, safety management, manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments is a plus.
• Good level of English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Understanding of chemical industry safety requirements.
• Safety‑related certifications are considered an advantage.
