Sales & Business Development Specialist

About the role

Norm Fasteners is seeking a Sales & Business Development Specialist to strengthen its presence in the Moroccan automotive market. Based in Tangier, you will be responsible for acquiring new OEM and Tier‑1 customers while deepening relationships with existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEM and Tier‑1 customers aligned with market analyses and strategic priorities.
• Manage and expand relationships with existing customers to maximize business potential.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, production volumes, new vehicle programmes and industry developments.
• Prepare regular market, customer, sales activity and competitor analysis reports.
• Develop customer action plans and monitor business performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Prepare commercial quotations and coordinate pricing decisions with headquarters and the Business Development team.
• Prepare the annual sales budget for the Morocco operation and manage monthly sales forecasting and order projections.
• Present Norm Fasteners’ product portfolio and technical solutions to customers.
• Track competitors’ commercial activities and pricing strategies and report insights to headquarters.
• Monitor customer receivables and support collection activities in coordination with headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales and business development experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers is highly preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic, French and English; Spanish is an advantage.
• Currently residing in or willing to work in Tangier, Morocco.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, specifically ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
