Sales Development Representative - B2B Insurance

About the role

Huzzle connects talent with leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia. This full-time, fully remote position is a frontline growth role for a high-growth SaaS client, where you use your knowledge of the insurance and financial services landscape to engage decision-makers at major insurance firms. The company has over 15 years of experience in outsourced sales acceleration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting, averaging 50 targeted calls per day.
• Execute multi-channel outreach to identify and qualify new business opportunities in insurance and finance.
• Communicate the value proposition of automation software to manual-heavy insurance organisations.
• Achieve a monthly target of 10 qualified outbound opportunities.
• Maintain records and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.
• Take part in regular coaching sessions to refine sales technique using the company's proprietary methodology.

Required profile

• Professional experience in the insurance or financial services industry (no prior sales experience required).
• Previous B2B SDR or BDR experience.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Nice to have: prior SaaS or automation software sales, UK insurance market experience, and a history of exceeding KPIs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
• Outbound prospecting and qualification.
