Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding (Morocco)

About the role

Martico Morocco is looking for an energetic Sales Executive to expand its ocean freight business across Morocco. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers and delivering customized, end‑to‑end logistics solutions for both import and export shipments, including dry and reefer cargo.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, visit, and convert new business opportunities in ocean freight (import & export, dry and reefer).
• Achieve monthly targets for volume and gross margin.
• Design tailored logistics solutions by understanding the full supply‑chain needs of clients.
• Maintain weekly sales plans and update CRM activity logs.
• Build long‑term partnerships with exporters, importers, shipping lines, truckers and other stakeholders.
• Promote Martico Group as a trusted door‑to‑door ocean freight provider.
• Support overdue payment collection from credit clients.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for service expansion.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, focusing on ocean freight (FCL & LCL).
• Strong knowledge of the Moroccan logistics market and an established network within the industry.
• Proven track record of managing client portfolios and closing new business.
• Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a performance‑driven attitude.
• Ability to collaborate with finance and operations teams and act as an ethical team player.
