About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our construction machinery business across Morocco. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the profitability of the regional sales operation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies throughout Morocco.
- Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential clients, managing contract discussions and closures.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
- Conduct regular market and customer visits to uncover new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
- Analyze sales performance and key KPIs, proposing corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Collect market intelligence, including customer insights, competitor activity, pricing trends, and feedback to support regional strategies.
- Perform ongoing market and competitor research for business planning.
- Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes to ensure timely collection and healthy cash flow.
- Take ownership of regional sales profitability and achieve or exceed annual sales targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 3‑5 years of sales experience in Morocco, preferably in the construction machinery sector.
- Strong familiarity with the Moroccan market; experience in other North African countries is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Proven negotiation, communication, and relationship‑management abilities.
