Sales Representative & Product Development

About the role

Strong customer relationships and successful product introductions are key to growing our business. In this role as Sales Representative & Product Development at Enza Zaden, you will combine commercial responsibility with technical product development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales and expand the market within your assigned customer portfolio.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, pricing proposals, and customer plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Provide technical advice to support the successful cultivation of our varieties.
• Identify promising experimental varieties through local screening and contribute to variety decisions.
• Plan and coordinate trials, including trial seed availability and product positioning.
• Collect market and customer information and monitor trends, competitors, opportunities, and risks.

Required profile

• Commercially driven, customer‑focused and able to combine sales activities with technical product support.
• Clear communicator who works well across functions and uses market data to identify opportunities.
• Ability to work independently while keeping customers and internal stakeholders connected.
• Higher professional or bachelor’s level of working and thinking.
• Agricultural, agronomy, horticulture or related background.
• 1–10 years of relevant experience, depending on the level of the position.
• Results‑driven and sales‑oriented approach.
• Strong communication, analytical and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the country.
