About the role

Khalil Gibran School Rabat is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. The role begins in August 2026 on a fixed‑term contract for one academic year, supporting both local and expatriate students in a vibrant, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that inspire curiosity and meet curriculum and assessment standards.
• Individualise and differentiate instruction to ensure every student is challenged, supported, and makes outstanding progress.
• Regularly assess in‑class and at‑home learning, providing targeted feedback to drive student achievement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and are encouraged to take learning risks.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and commit to ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to the school’s co‑curricular programme through clubs, events, and whole‑school initiatives.
• Maintain open, constructive communication with parents to support student wellbeing and progress.

Required profile

• Qualified to teach science at primary or secondary level, with experience in the Cambridge curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and assess student progress effectively.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Willingness to collaborate with peers and engage in continuous professional development.
