Science Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging science lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with support staff to meet diverse learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and maintain a decorated learning environment.
• Enter grades promptly, design monthly assessments, and grade all assigned work.
• Record daily attendance and manage subject‑specific portfolio assignments.
• Supervise playground duties and act as a mediator for student conflicts.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department and Academic Coordinator to support students with academic, behavioral, or special needs.
• Participate in teacher meetings, workshops, parent meetings, and school events.
• Encourage student participation in sub‑committees, fairs, and community service projects.
• Maintain open communication with parents and promote attendance at school‑organized meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to work under pressure, strong organizational and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
