Senior Accountant – Cloud Accounting (Hybrid)

About the role

Cypher is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Moroccan office and support a portfolio of international clients. The role combines financial reporting, team leadership, and process optimisation in a cloud‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accurate financial reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance with IFRS, U.S. GAAP and best accounting practices.
• Supervise and mentor a small team of entry‑level accountants, fostering professional growth and efficient workflows.
• Develop and optimise accounting processes using tools such as SAP, XERO, QuickBooks and CRM systems.
• Provide insights and strategic recommendations that contribute to the growth of Cypher’s financial products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred; audit experience considered a plus.
• 2‑4 years of proven experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail, communication and presentation abilities.
