Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting operations, from general ledger and month‑end close to inventory control and foreign invoice processing. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and strong internal controls while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform General Ledger and Record‑to‑Report activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and ad‑hoc analyses for management.
• Conduct restaurant and warehouse inventory counts, manage product costing, and analyze COGS, provisions, and write‑offs.
• Record foreign supplier invoices, allocate landed costs, and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Support external audits, provide documentation, and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on process‑improvement projects and workflow optimisation.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 6–8 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in the F&B industry.
• Progress toward a professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
