Senior Accountant

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead end‑to‑end French GAAP accounting for French real‑estate entities. You will be responsible for the full accounting cycle, statutory reporting and supporting tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual closing entries, including accruals, provisions, FX adjustments and reclassifications.
• Supervise and complete the AC3 (or equivalent) working file, ensuring a complete audit trail.
• Review client schedules (fixed assets, capex, depreciation, loans, leases, rent rolls, provisions, employee benefits) and reconcile them with the general ledger.
• Prepare French statutory financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, annexes) with FEC compliance.
• Coordinate with tax teams and external advisors for CIT, VAT and other tax filings.
• Extract, reconcile and validate trial balances from client ERPs and reporting tools.
• Perform detailed IFRS‑to‑French GAAP conversions and document adjustments.
• Supervise junior accountants, allocate work, review files and provide feedback.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation through Excel tools and ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance (DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent).
• Approximately 5 years of experience with French GAAP, preferably in a shared service centre or audit firm.
• Experience with real‑estate entities and IFRS‑to‑local‑GAAP conversions is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage structured processes.
