Senior Backend Engineer – Credit

About the role

Yakeey is a fast‑growing PropTech company building a unified platform for real‑estate transactions. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will own the credit/loan domain, delivering high‑quality Java micro‑services while collaborating with front‑end, data, DevOps and AI teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot micro‑services for the credit domain following domain‑driven design.
• Create and expose RESTful APIs that integrate with other platform components, respecting the Model Context Protocol where applicable.
• Ensure architectural consistency by adhering to global patterns, guidelines and cross‑team agreements.
• Collaborate with front‑end, data, DevOps and AI teams to align dependencies and integration points.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing across teams.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot with solid experience building backend systems.
• Strong understanding of micro‑services, RESTful API design and domain‑driven design; event‑driven patterns a plus.
• Experience deploying on AWS, using Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Curiosity for AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP and RAG architectures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple domain teams.
