Senior Component Engineer - Hydrogen Energy System

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Component Engineer to develop and integrate components for hydrogen energy systems, translating system and subsystem specifications into detailed component requirements and acceptance criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Derive component requirements from system and subsystem specifications and define performance requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate supplier technical data, support component selection, and participate in design reviews.
• Assist in integrating components into the overall system architecture and contribute to verification planning and system qualification.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s or Engineering degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Energy Systems or related field.
• Experience in component engineering, product development or systems engineering, including deriving component requirements from system‑level targets.
• Knowledge of component performance specifications, technical documentation, and supplier assessments.
• Understanding of system architecture, verification/validation processes and risk assessment methodologies.
