Senior Data Engineer

About the role

AXA Global Business Services Morocco is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and industrialise scalable data pipelines and platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role ensures high‑performance data ingestion, transformation, quality, security and accessibility across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and optimise end‑to‑end batch and streaming data solutions on Azure.
• Model, organise and enhance data architectures to meet business requirements.
• Implement data quality, security and compliance controls through monitoring, documentation and governance.
• Collaborate with IT teams, data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver innovative data solutions.
• Maintain and improve performance of platforms such as Spark, Delta Lake and Kafka.
• Manage projects independently in an agile environment, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Power BI and Azure cloud architecture.
• Proven experience with big‑data technologies and data‑pipeline development.
• Excellent communication in French and English, able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset and results‑driven.
