Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Artefact is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Casablanca team. You will work alongside consultants, data scientists, creatives and engineers to design and deliver innovative data solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy production‑grade Python code for data pipelines.
• Write and optimise SQL queries on relational and columnar databases such as BigQuery, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Git for version control and follow CI/CD best practices.
• Leverage cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) to build scalable data infrastructure.
• Participate in agile delivery cycles and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Curious mindset with a passion for innovative client solutions.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to business audiences.
• Self‑managed, capable of handling end‑to‑end project delivery.
• Enthusiastic about knowledge sharing and mentoring teammates.
