Senior Data Scientist (Casablanca)

About the role

Artefact is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its Casablanca team. You will work on high‑impact AI and machine‑learning projects that turn business challenges into production‑ready solutions for clients across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Assess feasibility of use cases, translate business problems into technical formulations and define statistical hypotheses.
• Design, develop, train and validate machine‑learning models, ensuring they meet business objectives.
• Implement MLOps best practices to move models to production, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to iterate on solutions, create data visualisations and support data storytelling.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Data Science experience.
• Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English (preferred).

Required skills

• Very proficient in Python.
• Good knowledge of Apache Spark.
• Understanding of MLOps principles.
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
