Senior Frontend Engineer – React & Next.js

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and scale fast, responsive, real‑time interfaces for cashiers, kitchens, and store managers across hundreds of locations. You will own features from concept to production, turning Figma designs into pixel‑perfect UI while maintaining a high‑performance multi‑app frontend.

Key responsibilities

• Build rich, performant UIs using React 18/19, Next.js, Vite, and TypeScript.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel‑perfect interfaces.
• Manage complex state with Redux Toolkit and server state with TanStack Query.
• Implement real‑time data flows via Socket.IO for live orders and status updates.
• Create accessible, consistent components with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI or Headless UI, and the internal design system.
• Develop multilingual and RTL experiences using i18next (French, English, Arabic).
• Build robust forms with React Hook Form and Zod, and optimise performance through virtualization and bundle size reduction.
• Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams, review code, and set frontend standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production frontend experience with deep expertise in React.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency and extensive work with Next.js.
• Demonstrated ability to implement Figma designs accurately.
• Experience with real‑time UI development (WebSockets/Socket.IO).
• Solid understanding of performance optimisation and responsive design.
• Ownership mindset – take features from design through to healthy maintenance.
