Senior Functional Safety Designer

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is seeking a Senior Functional Safety Designer to lead the definition, maintenance, and update of the Electrical and Electronic Architecture Design dossier (DCEE). You will ensure functional requirements are robust, clearly specified, and compliant with safety standards while guiding a team of consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Define and consolidate DCEE system functional specifications.
• Conduct audits on use cases and scenarios.
• Manage integration of modification requests and prepare QCTP presentations for Stellantis management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Stellantis design groups, project teams, TCS, and component teams.
• Analyze issues, perform diagnostic synthesis, and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Represent the EE team in high‑level meetings and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Embedded Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in functional safety and system design.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor consultants.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with technical analysis and root‑cause investigation.
