Senior Functional Safety Designer

About the role

As a Senior Functional Safety Designer you will be responsible for defining, maintaining and updating the Electrical and Electronic Architecture Design dossier (DCEE). You will ensure that functional requirements are robust, clearly specified and compliant with safety standards while leading a team of consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits on use cases and scenarios and design consolidated DCEE functional specifications.
• Manage integration of modification requests and prepare QCTP presentations for Stellantis management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Stellantis design groups, TCS and component teams to align requirements.
• Analyze issues, perform diagnostic synthesis and lead technical reviews.
• Mentor and guide a team of consultants, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Represent the EE team in high‑level meetings and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electronics, Embedded Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 12 years of experience in functional safety and system design, with strong background in functional requirements design.
• Proven ability to manage product diversity and ensure requirements consistency.
• Experience in technical analysis, root‑cause investigation and PLM environments.
