Senior Java Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join a fast‑growing client that leads the market in anti‑corruption and anti‑money laundering software. This is a full‑time, long‑term remote position where you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, security, and performance optimization.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event‑driven architectures supporting business logic and front‑end applications.
• Work extensively with cloud environments, leveraging containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience after internship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record designing and implementing microservices architectures.
