Senior Legal Counsel - Morocco

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel in Morocco. The role supports day-to-day business activities such as contract negotiation and comprehensive legal advice, while navigating regulatory complexity, corporate matters and litigation. It works closely with the local Moroccan team and the HQ legal team, and its scope in Morocco will expand as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day business activities, including contract negotiation and providing comprehensive legal advice
• Navigate regulatory complexity, ensuring compliance and enabling business innovation
• Manage corporate matters and litigation, and define legal frameworks supporting sustainable growth
• Address evolving legal landscapes, including competition, labor and data privacy issues
• Collaborate with the local Moroccan team and the HQ legal team to provide timely legal support
• Drive the expansion of the role's scope in Morocco as the company grows

Required profile

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, with a background in legal departments of reputable companies or top-tier law firms
• Proven experience managing corporate governance matters and litigation and amicable settlements
• Excellent English, Arabic and French (native or fluent)
• Ability to organize and prioritize, and to handle fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Required skills

• Strong grounding in commercial law, consumer law and antitrust/competition law
• Experience managing corporate governance and litigation
