Senior Life & Health Modelling Analyst

About the role

Join SCOR's new Actuarial Hub in Casablanca as a Senior Analyst focused on Life & Health modelling. You will work with a global team of actuaries, data scientists and engineers to enhance reserving models, support capital and cash‑flow decisions, and drive automation across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Update and extend SCOR's Life & Health reserving modelling capabilities.
• Develop and test new model features to meet stakeholder reporting requirements.
• Run model scenarios, quantify impacts of changes, and prepare analytical outputs for senior management.
• Lead the automation of the quarterly model production process.
• Collaborate with IT, data, pricing, in‑force management and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of modelling tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance valuation, reserving, cash‑flow analysis or actuarial modelling.
• Progressing through actuarial examinations (e.g., IFoA, SOA).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into model specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex results to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Actuarial modelling and reserving concepts.
• Experience with actuarial software or statistical tools (e.g., Prophet, Moses, R, SAS).
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis.
