Senior Manager, Tax

About the role

Nestlé Maroc SA is seeking a Senior Manager, Tax to build and lead the tax function for Morocco and Algeria. This newly created position will design the tax operating model, embed strong controls, and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting across all relevant tax areas.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the tax function, governance framework and controls for Morocco and Algeria.
• Manage accurate and timely tax compliance, reporting and payments for direct, indirect, withholding taxes and customs duties.
• Set up a sustainable NBS and CoC support model for ongoing compliance, reconciliations and documentation.
• Lead tax audits, authority queries, APA discussions and transfer‑pricing matters.
• Represent Nestlé with local tax authorities, government bodies, advisors and auditors.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, NBS and Zone/Central Tax teams to align with Group policies and local requirements.
• Support tax policy initiatives, continuous‑improvement projects and build tax awareness through training and guidance.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English.
• Minimum seven years of tax experience covering direct, indirect and withholding tax matters.
• Background in a tax consulting environment, preferably with a Big 4 or reputable advisory firm.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and proven ability to manage audits, compliance obligations and authority interactions.
• Understanding of how to establish and run an effective tax function, including controls, policies, procedures and compliance.
