Senior Officer, Award and Project Management Functional Excellence

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Senior Officer to support the Award Management Functional Excellence team. The role ensures award and project management processes are current, fit‑for‑purpose, and enable country offices to deliver programmes on time, with quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for information management and compliance with award and project management systems.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve documents, learning materials, procedures and tools aligned with the Quality Framework, donor requirements, OneNet and the LMS.
• Manage learning content on the intranet and contribute to cross‑functional strategic projects.
• Coordinate with Business Partnering, Donor Compliance and other functions to resolve queries and meet Service Level Agreements.
• Support transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in award or project management support within an international or NGO setting.
• Strong understanding of compliance, data quality and portfolio management principles.
• Ability to work flexibly across time zones (flex to GMT+2) and travel up to 10%.
• Unrestricted right to work in the chosen location and fluency in English.
