Senior Power BI Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design, build, and deploy advanced dashboards and reports that support HR and other business units. You will play a key part in expanding our analytics capabilities and maintaining the data lake.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reports delivering actionable insights.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to translate reporting needs into technical specifications and best‑practice solutions.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Participate in projects that deliver new analytics features and data‑lake updates.
• Automate existing Excel‑based reporting processes to improve speed and reliability.
• Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment, and performance to identify trends and anomalies.
• Optimize performance, usability, and visual appeal of existing reports.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for dashboards, data sources, and processes.

Required profile

• Engineer‑level background in Data, Data Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong experience in data analytics, visualization, and business‑needs modeling.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Power BI with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience.
• Power BI certification.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, automation).
• SQL and data‑modeling expertise.
• ETL design and implementation.
• Knowledge of HR metrics and analytics.
• Familiarity with data‑visualization best practices.
