Senior Quality Production Engineer

About the role

The Senior Quality Production Engineer will lead the quality inspector team for the designated segment, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and driving continuous improvement across the production plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quality inspector team and implement HOS and CIP methodologies (5S, Kanban, Zero‑Defect, 8D).
• Train and inform inspectors on customer specifications to guarantee adherence throughout operations.
• Manage non‑conformities identified during customer audits, communicating action plans and findings promptly.
• Participate actively in new project development and serial transfer activities.
• Support the production plant with quality improvements through process audits and related initiatives.
• Utilise SAP and customer portals for quality data management.

Required profile

• BAC+5 in Industrial, Mechanical or Technical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of senior quality engineering experience in industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and solid technical background.
• Proven team management and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset with excellent prioritisation skills.
• Organised, stress‑resistant, versatile, self‑starter with initiative.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Quality tools such as 5S, Kanban, Zero‑Defect, 8D.
• HOS (Hirschmann Operational System) and CIP (Continuous Improvement Process).
• Knowledge of quality standards: IATF16949, VDA, CSR, quality core tools.
• Proficiency with SAP and customer portals.
