Senior Traffic Operator – Road Freight (FTL/LTL)

About the role

As a Senior Traffic Operator you will manage and optimise end‑to‑end full‑truck‑load (FTL) and less‑than‑truck‑load (LTL) road freight shipments. You will ensure on‑time performance, cost efficiency and high service quality while coordinating with customers, carriers, drivers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and track FTL and LTL shipments from origin to destination.
• Proactively handle incidents and exceptions such as delays, damages or last‑minute changes and execute solutions.
• Communicate daily with customers and carriers, providing ETAs, status updates, documentation and issue resolution.
• Negotiate with transport providers, monitor service compliance and follow up on performance.
• Control transport documentation and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
• Monitor and support improvement of operational KPIs (on‑time delivery, incidents, productivity, cost).
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to guarantee smooth execution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven experience in road freight operations (FTL/LTL) in a similar role.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English and Spanish is recommended.
• Master’s degree (Bac+5) preferably in Transport or Logistics.
