Serial Life Quality Engineer

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is seeking a Serial Life Quality Engineer to lead quality convergence initiatives for its automotive customers. You will act as the central quality liaison between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, after‑sales, and customer experience teams, ensuring that warranty targets and product reliability goals are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive quality convergence plans to achieve customer quality targets.
• Monitor, analyse and report quality KPIs, warranty claims, failure rates and warranty costs.
• Lead cross‑functional resolution of quality issues, coordinating engineering, plants, suppliers and quality teams.
• Manage Engineering Quality Issues (QIT) and ensure proper tracking in GIM/PLM systems.
• Support problem‑solving activities with quality data, reports and proven methodologies.
• Ensure plant quality teams address production non‑conformities promptly.
• Prepare and present quality reviews in customer and management meetings.
• Assess safety‑related risks and support field actions or service campaigns.
• Capture lessons learned and integrate them into future projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a similar quality engineering role, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and risk analysis skills.
• Proven capability to convince, communicate and manage quality issues across transversal teams.
• High autonomy, flexibility to learn new tools and procedures, and rigorous work ethic.
