Serial Life Quality Manager

About the role

ALTEN is looking for a Serial Life Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives for its automotive customers. The role focuses on driving quality convergence, monitoring warranty performance, and coordinating cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Drive quality convergence plans to achieve customer quality targets.
• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, warranty claims, failure rates, and warranty costs.
• Lead quality issue resolution by coordinating Engineering, Plants, Suppliers, and Quality teams.
• Manage Engineering Quality Issues (QIT) and ensure proper tracking in GIM/PLM.
• Support problem‑solving activities with quality data, reports, and methodologies.
• Ensure production non‑conformities are addressed by plant quality teams.
• Prepare quality reviews and represent quality status in customer and management meetings.
• Assess risks related to safety alerts and support field actions or service campaigns.
• Capitalize on lessons learned and ensure their integration into future projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar quality management role.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to convince, communicate and manage quality issues across functions.
• Experience leading transversal teams and conducting risk analysis.
• Autonomy, flexibility to learn new tools and procedures, and rigorous work ethic.

Required skills

• Industrial Engineering knowledge.
• Proficiency with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools.
