Software Engineer MAUI/Blazor

About the role

Forterro is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in .NET MAUI and Blazor to design, develop and optimise cross‑platform applications that support the company’s strategic objectives. You will work within a collaborative engineering team, delivering high‑quality code and continuously improving the product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into well‑structured software solutions for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Design, code, test and maintain applications using C# and the .NET MAUI framework.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and QA to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Write unit tests, debug issues and perform troubleshooting throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and system architecture.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and propose enhancements to development processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high‑quality software in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• .NET MAUI framework with C#.
• Cross‑platform development for iOS and Android, including use of platform‑specific APIs.
• Consuming RESTful APIs.
• Object‑oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• .NET 8 or later.
• Git source‑control.
• Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Web API development.
• WinForms development and DevExpress components.
• Application profiling and performance optimisation.
