Software Engineer – .NET MAUI & Blazor

About the role

Forterro is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in .NET MAUI and Blazor to design, develop, and optimise cross‑platform applications. You will work within a collaborative engineering team, turning business requirements into high‑quality software that supports the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Translate functional specifications into well‑structured, maintainable code for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA to ensure solutions meet user needs.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, integrate platform‑specific features such as sensors and camera.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation, including design specs and architecture diagrams.
• Stay current with .NET advancements and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering software in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• .NET MAUI framework with C#.
• Cross‑platform development for iOS and Android.
• RESTful API integration.
• Object‑oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• .NET 8 (or newer) concepts.
• Version control using Git.
• Familiarity with Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Web API development, WinForms, and DevExpress components (desirable).
