Software Engineer (Python, Docker, Android) – Remote (Morocco)

About the role

We are looking for a pragmatic Software Engineer with at least 1 year of hands‑on industry experience to join a fast‑paced development workflow. We avoid heavy corporate bloat and focus purely on clean engineering, structured daily tasks, and real product execution.

Key responsibilities

• Write complex Python web scrapers (Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy) and package them into clean, well‑documented REST APIs (FastAPI/Flask) for integration.
• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Java and Kotlin, and iOS apps that consume the APIs.
• Containerise backend deliveries and scrapers using Docker for clean deployments.
• Contribute to the backend and UI development of a digital bookstore transitioning into an e‑commerce platform.
• Build intelligent Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbots utilizing external LLM endpoints.

Required profile

• 1+ year of commercial/industrial software engineering experience.
• Solid capability in Python for scraping, data processing, and API creation.
• Practical production experience with native Android development (Java/Kotlin).
• Daily working knowledge of Docker and Git/GitHub.
