Software Validation Engineer

About the role

The Software Validation Engineer will join MTA’s R&D team in Kenitra, focusing on verifying and validating embedded software for automotive, aerospace and rail applications. You will work closely with system architects and developers to ensure that software meets functional and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse system specifications and perform detailed requirements reviews.
• Define, implement and execute test protocols to validate system functionality.
• Collect, trace and analyse test results, reporting findings to development teams.
• Manage bug‑tracking activities using tools such as JIRA or RedMine.
• Maintain requirement traceability using DOORS and ensure compliance with project standards.

Required profile

• Master’s or Engineer degree in Electrical, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software verification and validation for real‑time or embedded systems.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Background in automotive, aerospace or rail industries.

Required skills

• JIRA and RedMine for bug tracking.
• IBM DOORS for requirements management.
• Black‑box and white‑box testing methodologies.
• CAN and LIN bus knowledge, including Vector CANalyzer/CANoe.
• Familiarity with ASPICE and CMMI processes.
• MATLAB, Stateflow and Simulink modelling.
• Understanding of functional safety and cyber‑security standards.
