Sourcing & Emergency Specialist MEA

About the role

Evernex is looking for a Sourcing & Emergency Specialist to support the Middle East and Africa region. The role ensures operational needs are met by securing spare parts and technical services while maintaining cost, quality and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a regional sourcing strategy aligned with the global approach.
• Source spare parts, technical services and partners, optimizing cost, quality and delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Monitor purchase orders, stock availability and coordinate with warehouses and technical teams.
• Ensure timely procurement and end‑to‑end service delivery.
• Maintain procurement records, prepare purchasing and cost‑analysis reports, and support Purchase‑to‑Pay improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and drive operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate up to 5 years of experience in procurement.
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (research, evaluation, liaison).
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to adapt quickly to new processes.
• Capability to manage the full order‑to‑payment cycle.
• Analytical, numerically astute with proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑oriented, fluent in English and French.
• IT items procurement experience and knowledge of IT suppliers are a plus.
